Not really a rant. Just an amused observation.
Did you know...
...that peeps are flammable?
...that some cats are terrified of fancy, carved jack o'lanterns?
...that candy corn, when given in excess to inebriated hubbies, make hubbies sillier and oh yeah...sick?
...that orange-colored frosted cupcakes are the number 1 breakfast food choice for twins?
...that orange-colored frosting is hard to wash off sticky little fingers?
...Halloween window clingies makes cats yowl? All night?!
No...I didn't know, either! LOL
The last Act will still be posted today, just...er...later.
Smooches,
mommy

Date: 2008-10-24 05:11 pm (UTC)Though I've always wanted a cat, I've never had one, so I didn't know those. XD
Candy corn makes people sick because it's disgusting. :P Just ask comedian Lewis Black.
Cupckaes are ALWAYS the number one breakfast choice. lol

Date: 2008-10-25 02:52 am (UTC)I don't think there are rules. My cats were abandoned kittens in a carton. The TV scared them for a while. Then my twins' Spongeball beachball.
....
Actually, that scares me. LOL

'I DIDN'T HEAR YOU!'

'Last time Owen. Stop torching the peeps. It's stinking up the hub.'
'Ok, then you suggest how to get rid of them before Jack comes down. No matter what I do, he's finding them.'
'Why are you so concerned about keeping them away from Jack?'
'Well Ianto. You fed him those disgusting orange cupcakes this morning for breakfast. Then Gwen gave him candy corn and Tosh offered to go for a coffee run. Jack is wired enough from all the sugar and caffeine. Do you want him to get his hands on theses peeps?'
'There is a blowtorch in the archives. That should help burn the peeps faster. I'll go get it.'

Date: 2008-10-25 10:20 am (UTC)My doc gave me some meds for an ear problem and I'm so wired from those that co-workers are asking me if I'll share my 'happy drugs'.
Then one of them gave me tootsie rolls. SUGAR!

Date: 2008-10-24 10:57 pm (UTC)I should have got a picture of Sully (the cat) in the pumpkin the kids were trying to carve. *taps head* come to think of it, don't think Sully is to right in the head.
Gingerlr! that was good!

Date: 2008-10-25 03:02 am (UTC)Okay, the reason why I'm still laughing is that's what hubby was trying to make as a one time treat with the twins (see, m-i-l? They do get junk food, lol). The thing went poof in the microwave, my twins shrieked and afterwards, they wouldn't eat it because hubby killed "Tweety" LOL

Date: 2008-10-25 03:29 am (UTC)That is too much!
When Hubby was alive, I made them make a fire outside. (hmmm may have to do that this weekend for a treat!) the microwave was off limits!
and what is up with m-i-l's, seriously? *sigh* she swears the kids never eat. LOL 'cause the kids are skinny!
Oh my! wait, they all run cross country!

Date: 2008-10-25 03:47 am (UTC)I know! My twins aren't skinny, actually, they still have that cute cherub cheeks look, but unless hey're round and rotund, m-i-l sees it as I'm feeding them only flax seed and water. LOL
