The prompt took me by surprise because it did grow, including Adam's part far beyond what I had imagined. Thankfully, it wasn't like my first epic at 1003 pages (eeeeeeeeeeeeeee) but finishing a long story seems to be a catalyst for bigger plot bunnies to come...with teeth.
