Thanksgiving Turkeys

I was rudely cut off driving to Stop-n-Shop, cut in front of at the register lines, had nearly gotten my shopping cart taken because I stepped away to reach for the canned pumpkins, I come home: chicken, chestnuts, celery, potatoes, yams, pork chops, all the things to make a Thanksgiving and hubby just now, peers into the fridge with a hang dog expression and says...

"Aw, no Cool Whip?"

Oh I see, thanks for that.
Yessiree we have instant whipped cream in a can, we also have brandied pouring cream every christmas!
Hubbie goes thru three litres of that in no time at all!

It's a horrible, horrible invention of artificial whipped cream and oh, you're lucky you don't have it there because honestly, like bakaknight just mentioned below, it can easily be made but oh alas, when you want a quick snack, the tub of cool whip is an evil, easy way out. :)
