Still Here, Still Writing (And Sweating)

Just a quick note before I try to not disappoint the twins by saying no bunny pets for Easter and keep purple food dye out of curious cat paws.

Still writing. I have finished drafting and plotting "Eye of the Storm" and 50% done with plotting out "Reinventing Pavlov" Now comes the fun part: writing as I rewatch the Torchwood episodes for some AU. Should be fun, except I started sweating as I opened a new document to write the first episode. Eek.

So mommy is behind (very), but thankfully, the hard part of plotting, fixing and warping a verse but still keeping it the same is done. The writing is easier (sort of) and hopefully smoother sailing than the preliminary prep work. :)

Just a bit longer, my friends.

Still here. :)

However long you need :) I will just be grateful and overjoyed whenever I will get to see you next story. Keeping an especially soft spot for Eye of the Storm, but can't wait for Reinventing Pavlov either. Your stories are worth waiting for.

[identity profile] d8rkmessngr.livejournal.com 2010-04-01 04:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Thank you. I hope it'll be worth the wait. I think that's a part of what stresses me in starting so I had been obsessively plotting first. LOL

Yay!

Good luck, and happy easter.

[identity profile] d8rkmessngr.livejournal.com 2010-04-01 04:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Thank you!

:D Yay! Exciting. And it's really awesome to see that you're still around, haha. It's been a while... or I'm unobservant.

[identity profile] d8rkmessngr.livejournal.com 2010-04-01 04:16 pm (UTC)(link)
LOL, no, no, not unobservant. I just been doing mommy duty more than writing.

[identity profile] bakaknight.livejournal.com 2010-04-01 01:41 am (UTC)(link)
Just so long as you're taking it easy most of the time. You KNOW how I worry.

[identity profile] d8rkmessngr.livejournal.com 2010-04-01 04:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Oooh, I'm not the one sticking cats with pb to get them on the walls! :)

[identity profile] bakaknight.livejournal.com 2010-04-02 08:35 pm (UTC)(link)
That's the husband, not the kids, right? He might claim he's just helping with a little crime scene recreation or something to get away with it.

[identity profile] d8rkmessngr.livejournal.com 2010-04-02 10:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh no, sadly, long ago, my twins saw Spiderman and short of finding radioactive spiders to bite our cats, they thought peanut butter. Hubby thought it was cute. Well, HE didn't have to wash Jif peanut butter off wallpaper! LOL now, back then, I was writing chapter 12? 14? So mommy was not amused then. :)

I will wait until the sun explodes for your fic!

Ang.

Um....wear sunblock? lol

[identity profile] gingerlr.livejournal.com 2010-04-01 03:11 am (UTC)(link)
*hugs* mommy.

Purple dyed kitties are more important than writing.

I think? Did I say that? Wait! I want to read more mommy stories. I wonder. Jack and Ianto have been missing for a few hours. Something about missing chocolate sauce that I got for the vanilla ice cream. They've been searching for hours! Ianto left his keys to the archives here and I'm sure that I can find some alien artifact to help clone yourself so you can find the time to write.

I might be a while since I'm behind in my writing also so I'm going to find one for myself.

[identity profile] d8rkmessngr.livejournal.com 2010-04-01 04:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Behind in your writing? Who just posted a fic, hmmm?

[identity profile] gingerlr.livejournal.com 2010-04-01 11:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, behind on Choices. The iPod ramble was simple. *grins*

Okay, now off to eat early Easter day candy and write next part of Choices. I have the ending but not much else.

edited because i'm a distracted dork!

still around... patiently waiting.

re: kiddos and no bunny pets - my folks (up until about 2 years ago - and i'm gonna be 40 in June) got me a small stuffed bunny toy every Easter. It became a family tradition, kind of like each family member getting a "special Christmas tree ornament" every year.

They were never really big or expensive bunnies, (well, the one when i was 5 was almost as big as me, but dad couldn't resist it... and i still have it) - but the tradition meant a LOT to me as i got older. It also helped keep the "but i want a REAL bunny" whining to a minimum - especially when i realized that real bunnies don't cuddle NEARLY as much as stuffed ones. ::grin::

Just a suggestion.

re: writing - We're here and willing to wait as long as it takes. Take care of you and yours first.

::hugs and well wishes::

Alas, it's like Harry Potter. "Mommy, can we have an owl?", Halloween "Mommy, can we get a black cat?" and now Easter, "Mommy, can we have a bunny?"

I have to say no because I'll end up carrying for ouor petting zoo, but oooh, yes, gotta be enemy number one for a few days after.

Stuffed bunny might be a cute idea though.....:)

Just commenting to say ... YAY!! I'm glad you are still writing.

I have bunny pets! I love them to pieces. But they live many years, so one should only get a bunny pet if they want one. But mine are very cuddly! Plus they are soft and warm and sniffly *g*.

Yes, my fear is my twins just want one because of Easter...

Can I say, I'm probably most excited to see what you do with Adam, seeing as that's my favourite ep. :D

Oh, Adam is going to be....interesting. LOL

Looking forward to storytime :)

I'm in the process to make an e-book version of TCS, and the word document itself, it's something like 1441 pages!

-jaw dropping-

I assure you the sequel is nowhere near. :)

I'm always here and waiting - and believe you me, when you do post the sequel, a huge cheer will go up in fandom and you will get many a happy comment. : )

I'm looking forward to seeing Eye of the Storm - I started reading TOS when you were about halfway though it, and have been patiently waiting ever since fort EOTS!
