Once again, I'm delayed. I was hoping to finish (I was about 70% too) and post by today.
Then hubby decides to take us to that county fair and get EVERYTHING the twins wanted. Not that they demanded. They all did that wide eyed, anime, dewy eye, "Daddy, can we share one?" and of course husbands think getting one junk food to twins is better than buying one for each of them. And of course I was the bad guy, "Oh no, we shouldn't get that, honey..."
Corn dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, funnel cakes, a purple stuffed elephant and a stuffed dog my cats won't stop hissing at later...
Kids? The reason you and daddy have tummy aches this morning is because your daddy was a pushover!
My husband...the genius. I think his ph.d is in "Doh!" instead. That's aaaall I have to say. I have to go make soup. -groan-
Tomorrow! Sorry, gang!

Date: 2008-05-05 04:27 pm (UTC)But then my 'other' child (hubby) comes home, too tired to even brush his teeth (I once found his toothbrush in the fridge), so I gotta feed him, get HIM to bed, then I have 1 blissful hour or 2 uninterrupted when I can post. I'm lucky because hubby drives the twins to school so I just prep lunch day before and sleep in late!
It all works out. Sometimes. Until hubby ph.d gets another brilliant idea like introducing our kids to deep fried Oreos and peanut butter malts. I couldn't get the twins to bed until 11! It's normally 9. I was like "Go to sleep! *I* need a nap!" lol

Sounds like a good system. I think I need to get me a system to organize myself. Probably would make me more efficient.
