Okay, mommy has been out of LJ for a while as she writes but just found out her favorite writer missthingsplace had a story plagarized. (yes, mommy so pissed, she is referring herself in the third person)

Now, mommy has had several friends that have been violated like this, had their trust broken and all mommy has to say is "What the fuck?!?! Get your own ideas! Leave the writers alone!!!!".

Deep breath. Okay, ranting over, but I have to say this: stop_plagiarism

Join it, see something suspicious on FF.net, Quizilla, and any of those cutesy sites these cheaters think they can cleverly hide and steal credit? Report them. Your story should not be taken by anyone else. Your story stolen is not flattery (as one tried to defend to one of my friends then shift blame saying her little brother told her the story). You did the work. You braved the posting. You own the story. Enough said. Mommy so ticked, she nearly went over to give plagarist piece of mommy mind (I had a two page rant). Said culprit was lucky story was taken down otherwise...

I know, it's Valentine's Day, mommy. Where's the love? Well, I gave it all up to my hubby, my cats, my children, missthingsplace, teachwriteslash (for the rotten day you're having), and gingerlr (because hon, I'm right here, okay?). I'm spent, I always have love for everyone but mommy is just feeling very particularly miffed at plagarists right now. Sorry.
