Elections is over. It looks like the Super Bowl, World Series and Olympics hit our house thanks to neighbors, co-workers, my kid's friends' parents dropping by for dinner (thanks for telling mommy two hours before that I had 9 people coming!). I'm still cleaning. Yes, proud moment in history, I voted, hubby voted, even my twins were interested, but...
1. I have three cats now. Need a kitty trap to get back Tic who ran out the door that was supposed to be shut. -glares at sheepish, lethargic, overstuffed hubby- Wah.
2. Carpet steaming is how much?
3. I missed lunch because I had to do the windows. Wah.
4. I missed my nap because I had to do the laundry. Wah.
5. I ordered pizza for dinner because I...well, you get the idea.
6. PT chided me for not doing my exercises. I was busy! Wah. :(
I didn't do any writing. Thank goodness I didn't sign up for that NaMoWriMo thing I keep hearing about!
I need to sleeeeep. I'm going to try and finish typing up Act 3 and 4 from my journal tomorrow. I'll do my best to post tomorrow night. If not, definitely Friday night. Pray my cat comes back before then. I'm gluing them to the litter box from now on!
How do you get beer stains off a couch and stop it from smelling like a guy? LOL.

Date: 2008-11-06 12:35 pm (UTC)1) Your kitteh will come back when it is hungry. In the meantime, lost kitty pictures.
2) Is it possible to merely hire out the carpet steaming equipment and do it yourself like it's a normal vacuum? We do that a lot.
3) Sit down and eat woman!
4) GO TO SLEEP!
5) Pizza. Nomnomnomnom
6) Exercises. Important they are, hm, yes.
7) We're fine with a writing lack, honeset; you need to rest, my dear.
8) Gluing the cats to the litter box isn't sanitary for the feeding of them. And you can just bet the one most like Owen will complain.
9) Baking soda and lemon juice on the beer stain. It works for both the stain and the smell.

Date: 2008-11-06 02:51 pm (UTC)2. Sounds like a possibility. I think our Walmart does that. I'll leave that job with hubby. -snicker-
3. burp. LOL
4. Tried. All night, I thought I heard Tic, or my twins thought they heard him. But no, it was the other three. Gr.
5. LOL. I hope they don't get too used to it!
6. -headdesk- Yes, I know, but I think I waa too cranky yesterday to concentrate on squeezing a ball and standing on one foot. LOL. Tomorrow though. I need to lose the Election day pizza weight.
7. Thank you. -huggles-
8. GPS and electric fence maybe. Big giant gerbil wheel?
9. Oooh, thanks!
Tic: the cat who's afraid of everything. Anyone seen him? Weighs 7 lbs, almost 2 years old, bleches, and wears a bell so I can hear him (which obviously didn't work. Sigh.) He likes to eat raisins and bugs. Bleh.

Found cat on porch this morning, hubby scared him, he bolted, kitty trap caught...something else (eeeeek!), sighted it snoozing on my coiled up hose, I tiptoed quietly and a garbage truck went by and it zipped between my legs.
Any other day, I would have the energy to catch it. Now I can only just stand on my lawn and look funny yelling after it. LOL

Date: 2008-11-06 09:50 pm (UTC)Wow! I hope the one that ran away comes back. Your life sounds very busy.

Date: 2008-11-06 09:57 pm (UTC)He'll come back, I just want it sooner than later. There's tuna outside, provided the neighbor's dog doesn't eat it, he'll come back soon. I hope.
GPS tracking. I should consider GPS tracking. LOL

Date: 2008-11-07 01:05 am (UTC)Simple. Buy a new couch with the hubby's credit card. Has the added benefit of preventing any more beer stains on other furniture. *grin*
NaMoWriMo thingy - I'm going to count up the words that I wrote in the last month and see how many words I came up with. Or count the words in my current challenge and see what I come up with. Only one more to do!.

Date: 2008-11-07 06:53 pm (UTC)Oops, I mean NaNoWriMo: National Novel Writing Month. It's a 30 day novel writing marathon that started Nov 1, hence why6 it's been quiet on LJ.

Date: 2008-11-08 07:57 pm (UTC)Kitty will return, when it gets hungry and wants its mommy. Punish hubby by hiding beer. Works in this house *cackles and seconds idea to use hubby's CC to buy new couch*
